1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Leap Into Lessons website and booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of our website, including parents, guardians, and anyone booking swim lessons on behalf of a child.

2. Account Registration

To book swim lessons, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You will provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3. Booking and Payment

Pricing

• Swim lessons are priced at $24 per 30-minute slot
• Hour-long lessons (two consecutive slots) are $48

Payment Terms

• Payment is due Saturday for the following week (Monday through Saturday)
• Payment is accepted via e-transfer to the email provided during checkout
• Lessons will not be confirmed until payment is received

Booking Holds

When you add a time slot to your cart, it is held for 10 minutes. If you do not complete checkout within this time, the slot will be released and may become available to other customers.

4. Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel a lesson up until Saturdayfor the following week's lessons (Monday through Saturday) at no charge
• Cancellations made after the Saturday cutoff will be charged the full lesson fee
• No-shows will be charged the full lesson fee
• To cancel a lesson, use the "My Lessons" page in your account

There will be no exceptions to this policy. This allows us to properly schedule and commit to instructors who are reserved specifically for your swimmer.

5. Weather Policy

Swim lessons are held outdoors and may be affected by weather conditions:

• Thunderstorms: For safety reasons, swimmers must exit the pool during lightning or thunder. Lessons may be delayed or rescheduled.
• Partial Lessons: If a lesson is interrupted by weather, you will only be charged for the time spent in the water.
• Cancellation Decisions: Leap Into Lessons will make the final determination about weather-related cancellations at the pool location.
• Rain: Light rain does not typically cancel lessons, as swimmers are already wet! Heavy rain or storms may cause delays.

6. Conduct and Safety

Before Your Lesson

• Arrive 5 minutes early for your scheduled lesson
• Wait outside the pool gate until the instructor invites you in
• Bring a towel and goggles (if desired)
• Wear a swimsuit and apply sunscreen before arrival

During Your Lesson

• Follow all instructor directions
• Treat instructors, other swimmers, and property with respect
• No running on the pool deck
• No food or glass containers in the pool area

Parent/Guardian Responsibility

A parent or guardian must remain on the premises during the entire lesson for children under 18. You are responsible for your child before and after their lesson time.

7. Liability and Assumption of Risk

Swimming and water activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Drowning or near-drowning
• Slipping on wet surfaces
• Exposure to sun and weather elements
• Physical exertion and related injuries

By booking swim lessons, you acknowledge these risks and agree that:

• You (or your child) are in good health and physically able to participate in swim lessons
• You assume responsibility for any injury or loss that may occur during lessons
• You will inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs

Leap Into Lessons maintains reasonable safety standards and employs trained instructors. However, we cannot guarantee that accidents will not occur.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms and Conditions
• You engage in unsafe behavior at the pool
• You fail to make payment for booked lessons
• You provide false or misleading information

You may delete your account at any time through the "My Account" page. Outstanding payments remain due even after account deletion.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Leap Into Lessons and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or through a notice on our website.

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
